It’s been a strange trip so far, that’s for sure. Since 2009, Greenberry has bounced around the journalistic world, holding positions with a large, daily-paper (Mobile Press-Register), an independently owned, alternative newspaper (Lagniappe) and freelancing for several publications along the way. However, these endeavors ultimately lead Greenberry to Fishbowl, where he claims to feel right at home. “Music is something that challenges a writer,” Greenberry said. “Anyone can call up a politician and ask them a few questions, but to be able to explain music – that’s a challenge. And, since I love music just as much as writing, there ain’t no place I’d rather be.”
